Discover all the most important sights in Budapest with your tour guide during a 3 hour city tour. See the main attractions on both sides of the River Danube. Walk around the Castle District, enjoy the view from the Citadel and see the top attractions of Pest. After the 3-hour city tour you will take a 1-hour long river cruise on the Danube.
You will start the tour from the Chain Bridge, pass by the Parliament and take the Margaret Bridge to drive over to the Buda side. After a stop in the Castle District and a short walk. you will be shown the main attractions of the area. Walk to the Matthias Church and the Fishermen's Bastion (from where you can enjoy the beautiful panorama). Next, continue to the Gellért Hill (Citadel) and you will be shown the most spectacular view of Budapest. Afterwards, you will be taken over the Elisabeth Bridge to Pest and be shown the famous Central Market Hall and the largest Synagogue of Europe, afterwards you will be driven to the City Park. You will pass by the famous Széchenyi Thermal Bath, the Budapest Zoo, then stop at the Heroes' Square (with statues of the most famous Hungarian kings and dukes). You will take the Andrássy Avenue back to downtown Pest, while passing by the Opera House and St Stephen's Basilica. During the tour you will be offered a brief overview of the last 1000 years of Hungarian history.
After the 3-hour city tour you will take a 1-hour long river cruise on the Danube to see the sites of Budapest from a different perspective. During the boat tour you can refresh yourself with a drink (choice of champagne, wine, beer, soft drinks, mineral water) and enjoy the commentary of the audio guide (available in 30 languages). Tour ends at the pier / city centre.
