Get the chance to visit the real Algarve - the town of Loulé, the villages of Querença, Barranco do Velho, Salir and the well-known village of Alte.

You'll start by visiting the historic old town of Loulé. Here you'll have the opportunity to see the old traditional Algarvian art of basket weaving using palm leaves, “empreita” and the opportunity to visit the market for fresh and traditional products. You'll continue along the mountain range and visit the typical villages of Querença, Salir (archaeological museum) and Barranco do Velho (distillery).

The excursion will continue to Alte - this village is considered as the most typical and picturesque village in the Algarve. Later, you can enjoy a meal and experience this place full of charm and tradition.

    Worth doing but needs more information from the guide, particularly the history of the places.If you are going from Portimao it is a very long day.

    The tour was great to see the real algarve, very knowledgeable tour guide and comfortable coach. Lunch was very good, set price, great value for money. Only negative was the pick up time was changed, didn't receive the email and coach was still 25 minutes late after new pick up time.
